Handreared - Is a term used when a bird has been fed by human hands. Any bird can be reared by hand. Just because a bird has been fed by a human it does not automatically make the bird tame. All birds can bite, even those that have been hand reared and are tame! Being hand reared simply means its less likely too. A bird that has been hand reared has had a head start in taming. meaning they have less fear in human contact and already want the interaction.
The term tame is generally used when a bird is older and has been taught things like step up, etc.
