
The term parrot, beautiful, highly intelligent with most of them having an exceptional vocal range. Parrots are the only animal in the world that are capable of mimicking human speech. Parrots have a human like life span. Very affectionate but their personalities can be very demanding. They require almost constant stimulation. They are not for the fainthearted but the rewards are out of this world.
Parrots range in sizes from the smaller Senegal, Meyer, Caique and Pionus, to the more known size of Amazons, African Greys and Eclectus, to the bigger Cockatoos and Macaws.
